For Women Who Hold Everything Together — and Are Quietly Falling Apart

Anxiety and depression in high-functioning women often go unrecognized for years. You look fine from the outside. Inside, you're exhausted in ways that are hard to put into words.

You've been managing. But managing isn't the same as healing.

Many of the women I work with describe themselves as "high-functioning" — they're keeping up with work, family, and responsibilities. But underneath, there's a constant hum of worry, a heaviness they can't shake, a sense that they're running on empty and no one can ever know.

Anxiety and depression are incredibly common, and incredibly treatable. You don't have to earn the right to get help by hitting a low point. If something doesn't feel right, that's enough reason to reach out.

Signs you might be dealing with anxiety:

  • Racing thoughts that won't slow down, especially at night
  • Worrying about things you know logically aren't that serious
  • Difficulty relaxing, even when you have time to
  • Physical symptoms — tension, headaches, stomach issues, trouble sleeping
  • Avoiding situations or people because of dread or worry
  • Feeling like something bad is always about to happen

Signs you might be dealing with depression:

  • Persistent low mood or emotional numbness
  • Loss of interest in things you used to enjoy
  • Fatigue that sleep doesn't fix
  • Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
  • Feelings of worthlessness, guilt, or shame
  • Withdrawing from people and activities

How I treat anxiety and depression

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary framework — a well-researched approach that helps you identify the thought patterns driving anxiety and depression, and gently challenge and shift them. We also incorporate mindfulness and strengths-based work to help you build the internal resources to navigate hard times.

Every plan is individual. There is no protocol you'll be forced into. We go at your pace, in your direction.
